All too familiar. I’m looking at you, American Airlines .
At least you’re stuck in a nice airport

If by “nice airport” you mean surreal hellscape too far from the city it serves to bother to leave it and have a pleasant evening, sure.
But at least the food is decent.

And Denver is a southwest hub. They must be short on planes.

This progression of texts happened to me at Narita in April, while I was on a series of trains there with an increasingly sinking feeling...Air Canada handled it about as ineptly as one could possibly imagine. And much like DIA , Narita is approximately a million miles from anything interesting. Too bad for you the gigantic convention hotel with a water park out by DIA isn’t done yet...

Airport was closed for a few hours due to a doom storm. Flights were diverted to other airports. By the time they got here it was too late to get our flight out before BDL closed for the night.

It amazes me airports close. Like, planes can fly in the dark, just turn on the headlights dammit.

It’s not about the planes, it’s about the airport staff (and lack of demand for flights scheduled to arrive between 2 and 5 AM)

At least they cancelled it. American Airlines delayed my 11:54pm DEN-JFK flight to 9:30am a month ago.
